School Laptop Overview
Each year all incoming Freshman students are issued a laptop by the Londonderry School District.
Students:
Receive the laptop as a loan from the school & keep the laptop until they graduate.
Use the laptop each day during classes, bringing it home at the end of the day.
Bring the laptop to school every day fully charged.
Are expected to be responsible when using it & to report laptop issues or damage right away to the Student Tech Support Center at the front of the main lobby.
School Laptops:
Are serviced by Technology Staff at the school's Student Tech Support Center at the front of the main lobby.
Connect to a primary Wi-Fi school network & to school resources, such as printers.
Are set up to participate in digital SATs, PSATs, & State Assessment testing.
Receive necessary software and updates over the network & Internet from the School District's Cloud.
Include an anti-virus program & software that blocks school-inappropriate websites.
Londonderry High School Laptop Distribution
Laptops will be distributed on the following times and dates.
Tuesday August 22: 9 am to 3 pm
Wednesday August 23: 6 pm to 8 pm
Thursday August 24: 9 am to 3 pm
Friday August 25: 9 am to 3 pm
Parents and students are encouraged to pick up the laptop before Freshman Orientation night, as picking it up that night will result in a much longer than usual wait time. Note that it takes about 10 minutes for each student to set up their password and school accounts on the laptop and for processing paperwork.
Please review all information on this webpage before picking up the laptop to avoid delays in processing your student's paperwork.

Transfer students:
For School Year 2023-24, all incoming students at the high school in grades 9 through 12 receive a laptop.
It is important for all families new to the Londonderry School District to agree to the district’s technology policies when registering with the school district by completing the Digital Technology Acceptable Use Policy (click here) form, included in the district's Registration Packet.
Requirements for Laptops
Before receiving a laptop, all incoming Freshmen must meet the following requirements:
Two forms must be completed and signed by both parent and student.
A one-time Laptop Insurance Fee of $35 must be paid using one of the three options listed below:
A check made payable to the Londonderry School District
Online payment through the K12 Payment Center

The required forms & payment (check, receipt, or Waiver form) should be submitted when picking up the laptop.
If a form and/or payment is not submitted (or verifiable) at the time of laptop pick-up, the student's laptop will be held until the requirements are met.
For printed copies of the forms and/or webpage information, please contact the IT Department or your House Office for copies.

Please print and complete the two forms below. Both the student and parent sign the forms.
Submit these forms when picking up the laptop.
K12 Payment Center
Online Payment Center Instructions
A paper receipt or viewable digital receipt (on a smartphone) from the K12 Payment Center may be presented when picking up the laptop.
The K12 Payment Center is also used for your student's lunch program. You do not need to create another account if you already use K12 Payment Center for the lunch program.
If you do not have a K12 Payment Center account, you need to set one up using your child's Student ID Number*.
*The Student ID Number can be found in your Aspen Parent Portal.
To set up an Aspen Parent Portal, please contact your House Office Assistant Principal.
Example of a Student ID Number: 9031029 (7-digit number starting with a nine)
K12 Payment Center Instructions
Access the K12 Payment Center online: https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/Home/Login
Sign in using your current account information. If you do not have an account with the K12 Payment Center, sign up for an account by following the on-screen instructions.
Once logged in with an account, navigate to school fees under the ‘Parent Functions’ menu.
Click the arrow to expand the ‘Available Fees’ option. The laptop fee should be listed under Technology Fees.
After finding the appropriate fee for your student, click on the "Add to Cart" button.
For parents with more than one child, select the appropriate student’s account when adding the laptop fee to the Cart.
Once all fees have been added, click on the shopping cart at the top right and proceed to check out.
Note: If the fee is not listed, report this issue to the Student Tech Support Center in the main lobby or to your House Office during regular school hours. Please allow time for the district's business office to be contacted and the fee to be posted to your account prior to laptop pickup.
Laptop Fee Waiver Form
A laptop Fee Waiver form (titled Sharing Information with Other Programs) is available for families eligible for the USDA's Free/Reduced Meals program.
When picking up the laptop, an approved Fee Waiver form may be submitted in lieu of paying the $35 Laptop Insurance fee.
Steps to take:
Visit the school district's Dining Department's webpage for the USDA's Program application: https://www.londonderry.org/departments/dining
Or, contact the Director of Dining Services at the high school's Dining Services Office, (603) 432-6941, x2230, email: diningservices@londonderry.org
Complete and submit the USDA's application form according to the instructions.
Complete the Fee Waiver form (select Yes on the form) and return it to the Director of Dining Services at the high school's Dining Services Office for approval.
Once eligibility is determined, the Director will initial the Fee Waiver form as approved or not approved.

Families who are eligible for the Free and Reduced Meals program are also eligible for free or reduced-cost home Internet from Comcast, as part of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) (https://www.xfinity.com/acp).
